Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy
I offer a type of integrative therapy called Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP).
This holistic approach uses ketamine alongside psychotherapy to help eligible patients experience more frequent breakthroughs and longer-lasting symptom relief. In this process, I provide the psychotherapy portion of the care.
We can coordinate with your current psychiatrist, help you connect with one experienced in ketamine, or work with Journey Clinical, a partner organization whose medical team oversees all medical aspects of treatment. This includes determining eligibility, reviewing insurance options, developing a personalized treatment plan, prescribing the medication, and monitoring outcomes.

What is Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy?
KAP is a legal, evidence-based approach that pairs ketamine treatment with dedicated psychotherapy sessions for a deeper therapeutic experience and improved outcomes.
Ketamine is a safe, effective medication used to treat a range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, and PTSD. It has rapid-acting antidepressant and mood-enhancing effects, which can begin within 1–2 hours after treatment and may last up to 2 weeks. Ketamine works by promoting new synaptic connections, strengthening neural circuits that regulate stress and mood, and enhancing neuroplasticity for lasting symptom relief.
Ketamine can be administered in several ways:
- IV (intravenous) infusion
- IM (intramuscular) injection
- Nasal spray
- Sublingual lozenges
